The MEND center has been a busy place lately! Just last week, MEND sent 420 bags out the door to make their way to the United States. After each finished bag passes a thorough quality control review, it is packed, loaded onto a truck (with the help of the MEND seamstresses!), and sent down to Uganda’s capitol city, Kampala.  From there, the shipment will head to the US.  Each year MEND makes about 10-12 shipments, and last year the seamstresses made over 5,000 bags!
